Sheltered employment for persons with disabilities or special needs.
We are a social enterprise operating in Pärnu, Estonia. Our goal is to, through sheltered employment give people belonging to social risk groups the opportunity to find work. The target group are disabled people, people who have been released from prison, and people with different health-related and psychosocial problems who, regardless of difficult life stories, have the will and skills which due to unstable life and lack of output have so far been unrealized. We have established a work center where, at the moment, it is possible to execute woodwork.
We also involve people in cooperation in their domestic environment.
In addition to craftsmen, in our work center there will find an output those who are, due to their health or special need, incapable of working full-time. Despite that, we shouldn’t lose faith in people, rather find the strengths and skills of each individual on which to build the foundation again.
As for our production activity, we follow the green way of thinking. To keep the net cost of our products low, we try to use nonstandard materials and leftovers we get from major producers which otherwise would end up as heating material or garbage. We value rebuilding and renovating so that old things could have a new life.
One can only stop searching for the meaning of life by one self – by giving a meaning to their life. “Creator” expects so-called co-creation from us. We are not alive but for consuming and destroying. We are co-creators.
